8th July 2005

For once I am thankful that we aren’t living down south after what happened yesterday in London. Had several anxious hours though not knowing if Brian was okay so we were relieved when Chris rang us up. Still feel numb as it was too close to family for comfort.

Had my first fob off letter from one of the courts claiming I can’t have a copy of the relinquishment paper. I know it is a lie as the law changed in 2001 and the 1976 law was quoted. I am not giving up yet and it will take much more than this to stop me.

*On the 7th July 2005 bombs were let off around London and my brother in law was working there.  For a few hours nobody could get hold of him so we were worried.

About Philippa

I am married to Rick and we live in a small town in County Durham. We have two dogs, a cat and two budgies. I am also an adoption survivor. In 1981 my son was born and I was then forced to surrender him. It took 23 years and reunion for my to find out that my son's adoption was legally known as a forced adoption and illegal but social workers got away with it because mothers didn't know their rights.
