Over the years I never forgot Anthony’s birthday …. I just learned to cope by trying to keep as busy as possible or going out for the day. Yesterday not only did I think about him but more importantly I survived. Several times I just wanted to curl up and cry but Rick was so supportive instead of being his usual loud self. Early evening we went to do the gardening at the church’s resource centre then Rick spent the evening with me instead of going to the men’s group at the church. It meant a lot to me and I was further helped through the day by many lovely messages and e-cards. I did manage to have a ‘conversation’ with Anthony in the evening on msn messenger. Even better news to be told he received his birth certificate birth certificate in time for his birthday.
Anne (from Empty Arms) emailed me to let me know she may have had some success with the relinquishment paper or Consent Form as they call it. She had written to Halifax County Court and the court manager responded to her then she rang up the court. There is a possibility that the court will allow her a copy of it for free so I have written out a letter to the court.
