Evening out

18th August 2010

Last night we went to see The A-Team at Lakeside. It’s been ages since we last went to the cinema and the last time was to see Hancock while were living in Whitstable. My expectations were low so I was relieved that it was better than I expected. The stunts were, the predictable corny lines came along as expected and it was funny in places.

Been restless today but at least it’s gone fairly quickly. Tomorrow we plan to go out for the day to Great Yarmouth and will probably have a walk along the sea front at Gorleston with the dogs. We are sad people because we don’t have ‘proper holidays’ just days out. Our problem is we are too soft to put the dogs in kennels. When we are eventually pet free we will have a holiday but with The Demon Cat only being two that could be another ten – fifteen years away …. sigh!!!!

About Philippa

I am married to Rick and we live in a small town in County Durham. We have two dogs, a cat and two budgies. I am also an adoption survivor. In 1981 my son was born and I was then forced to surrender him. It took 23 years and reunion for my to find out that my son's adoption was legally known as a forced adoption and illegal but social workers got away with it because mothers didn't know their rights.
