Been busy

3rd June 2011

Time is flying by again and our home feels a bit like Piccadilly Circus at the moment.  We see Linda every day but we don’t mind that as we enjoy her company.

We have met the new owner of the house next door to Linda.  He is completely updating the house as it need modernising inside.  The radiators are heated by the coal fire so the new owner intends putting in electric heating as he is an electrician.  Today he started work on it so he and Rick have done several dump runs.  Gavin has been helping as well.  Linda and I helped with clearing the yard this afternoon.

Tomorrow we’re going to the music evening at the Salvation Army with Linda and Christine.  Rick has invited Alistair as well so we should have a good evening.

About Philippa

I am married to Rick and we live in a small town in County Durham. We have two dogs, a cat and two budgies. I am also an adoption survivor. In 1981 my son was born and I was then forced to surrender him. It took 23 years and reunion for my to find out that my son's adoption was legally known as a forced adoption and illegal but social workers got away with it because mothers didn't know their rights.
