Feeling blessed

3rd October 2011

Friends from the church have helped us decorate over three evenings.  They were round Monday and Tuesday of last week then again tonight.  It’s really brightened the place up so that’s cheered me up.  Left to Rick it would have taken months before anything got done.  The dogs have been really good having so many ‘visitors’ and Twizel is getting quite brave around people she doesn’t know well.   She was eventually let out when we got fed up of her creating.  It was good to get our home back to ourselves though.

I have been finding it hard to concentrate on anything lately.  A couple of days ago I got back to going through the family tree as it needs tidying up a bit.  I’m looking forward to having a quiet day when I can concentrate on doing what I want. We have had so much on our plates lately.  At least we haven’t had time to get bored.

About Philippa

I am married to Rick and we live in a small town in County Durham. We have two dogs, a cat and two budgies. I am also an adoption survivor. In 1981 my son was born and I was then forced to surrender him. It took 23 years and reunion for my to find out that my son's adoption was legally known as a forced adoption and illegal but social workers got away with it because mothers didn't know their rights.
