Better days

19th February 2012

The past few days have been better so I have been relaxed.  I have even been sleeping better at night.  At the moment I am watching my horrible little cat chasing a mouse around in the kitchen.  Considering the time of year it is it’s amazing how she finds them.  Tasha has been in and out all evening with the same mouse.  Naturally the dogs aren’t batting an her antics.

I will be glad though when the cast comes of my leg.  What I am looking forward to is a soak in the bath.  I am also looking forward to not being wheeled about everywhere.  It gets uncomfortable sitting in a wheelchair for a while.  This morning I took the crutches to church just so I could stretch my legs for a while.

About Philippa

I am married to Rick and we live in a small town in County Durham. We have two dogs, a cat and two budgies. I am also an adoption survivor. In 1981 my son was born and I was then forced to surrender him. It took 23 years and reunion for my to find out that my son's adoption was legally known as a forced adoption and illegal but social workers got away with it because mothers didn't know their rights.
